When we’re all stressed out and burnt out from work, what good remedy any of us could have but to take a time off from work. Working in a construction company is not easy especially the ones who are doing the hard labor under the scorching heat of the sun for eight hours; well actually in any company or whatever your job is, we all get tired and stressed out. And it is just right that every employee should take a breather from their exhausting work days.

Last August 25, HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation, SEAzed the day by bringing their staffs and workers out to the beach; and together they had fun games, sumptuous meal and enjoyed their fellowship. Aside from the games and bonding moments, they get to hear first the word of God. In everything we do, we should put God first thus hearing and sharing about Jesus is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted. And praise God for after hearing the word, five workers of the company has responded to the calling and decided to receive Jesus Christ in their lives and submitted to be baptized in water. The heavens are rejoicing for these people’s lives, they have decided to follow Jesus and it’s no turning back.

The one day breather from the stressful work might be bitin but it was more than enough time for a refreshing; be refreshed from all the work stressors or life in general. As the activity concluded, everyone felt refreshed physically, emotionally and above all spiritually.

Psalm 5:12 for surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

To favor means to give special regard to; to treat with goodwill; to show exceptional kindness to someone. Sometimes, it means to show extra kindness in comparison to the treatment of others; that is, preferential treatment.

The year 2016 has brought so much favor for Homechoice Planners & Construction Corporation. Doors of opportunities have opened as the company expands its point of view in the business. With the construction of 2 school buildings, and other construction prospects, Homechoice has opened doors of employment to local residents of Cagayan de Oro and the neighboring municipalities. Not only that, the company has extended its services through other forms of corporate ventures without compromising its vision and mission, but instead enhancing and supporting its quality objectives and core values.

Though there were challenges along the way, the company has stood up within its ground, with God as the ultimate solid rock where the company stands. Indeed, the Lord has surrounded the company with favor among men, in all its dealings inside and out the organization.

In gratitude for the year of abundant favor, grace and mercy, Homechoice had a thanksgiving and Christmas party held last December 22, 2016 at N hotel Cagayan de Oro City. Together with all the employees, from the top management down to its laborers, affiliate companies, suppliers, service providers and clients. A day before that, the employee’s wives and children were treated to a children’s party with lots and lots of give a ways, games and fun activities, where they also had a glimpse of bible stories, and Christian songs.

Looking back, 2016 has been a great year, with lessons to learn, and so many things to be thankful for. This year 2017, Homechoice Planners & Construction Corporation continues to aim high with its vision of becoming the leading company in providing customer satisfaction. Declaring that 2017 is the year of the Lord’s favor. We are favored and we are blessed, and continue to be a blessing to others.

2015 has been a remarkable year for HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation. It has been a year of great achievements and challenging circumstances. Both achievements and trials have strengthened the company enough to face and surpass every circumstance. Through the test of time, HPCC has indeed proven its worth.

In celebration of its successful journey in 2015, the company has conducted its Christmas thanksgiving party last December 22, 2015 at Xavier Estates Sports and Country Club with a theme of “Step up! Make that move”. It’s a rare gathering wherein staff and workers of HPCC are in their flauntingly best attire. The guys and gals of HPCC happily showed off their checkered and polka-dotted outfits. It was a day of fun and meaningful fellowship.

HPCC steps up and is making the move to fruitful 2016. One of the company’s big steps was becoming an ISO certified company last year. It may be a roller coaster ride for the company during the process of certification but all efforts has been paid off upon receiving the title of an ISO certified company. And now as 2015 closes, HPCC moves forward to 2016 with big faith that it’s going to be a prosperous year for the company. And it’s going to be all for the glory of God.

It is HPCC’s commitment to ensure most satisfied customers, deliver highest quality service and continually improve its quality management system. One of the most important ways in achieving its commitment is thru the competence of its workers. Establishing rapport and building good relationship with the clients are contributing factors to having satisfied customers. These are also contributory factors to the competency of the company and its workers. Being competent measures the workmanship and attitude of a certain person toward its work. It is where we can determine how passionate one can be with its work. If one is passionate with its work; positive outcome and result will exude from it.

As a way of showing how HPCC values its workers’ workmanship, the company has recognized and acknowledged the workers that have shown competence with their work. Last June 1, during the bible study fellowship, six workers were awarded with certificates and tokens for their outstanding performances from the month of January to April 2015. These workers were recognized for their competency and complete attendance which means no tardiness and absences in work. Congratulations to the recipients! Keep up the good work!

For the workers who have received an award, HPCC hopes that this won’t be the first and last award that they’ll be receiving. May this award give them the inspiration to continue their good works in the company. And for the other workers, may this be an inspiration for them to do their best also so that they too will be recognized on the next awarding. Kudos!

It’s an annual activity for HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation to conduct a service for the holy week. Every year, there’s always a theme that is set for the holy week service.

This year’s theme was entitled “Under the blood”; where each guest speaker discussed the essence of being under the blood of the lamb. There were four speakers and each of them shared the significance of the blood of the lamb. Though each speaker shared different verses, it sums up to one important point; the grace that we have through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for us. Our salvation is God’s way of showing His great love for us. That through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, we have now full access to God. Jesus Christ tore the veil and made a way for us to get closer to His father. There’s no need for us to give offerings and sacrifices because Jesus Christ has done it all for us. He died on the cross carrying all our burden and shame; the great act of unconditional love.

The activity ended with participants filled with knowledge and wisdom of God’s teaching. Thanks to the speakers; Ptr. Walter Ritchie, Ptr. Leah Ritchie, Sis. Iris Porras and Bro. Randy Pianar. The participants have indeed learned a lot from the speakers’ words of wisdom and encouragement. This activity gave the participants something to ponder for this Lenten week. Glory to God!

As HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation closes its curtain for year 2014, the company went down to memory lane and looked back on how the year went for them. It has been a roller coaster ride for HPCC; there were moments of ups and downs. But in every circumstance that the company has been into, it hadn’t stopped HPCC to continue with its endeavor. And without all those ups and downs, HPCC wouldn’t be able to make its advancement to 2015.

Before leaving 2014 behind and advancing to 2015, HPCC conducted its closing activities such as the thanksgiving celebration that happened last 20th of December in the company’s warehouse. The thanksgiving celebration served also as the Christmas party of the workers. The past years have been a grand celebration of Christmas parties but this time around the company has decided to make it simple. Just like how the company celebrated its Christmas party when they were just starting the business. The thanksgiving celebration was ministered by the senior pastor of CDO FAOG church, Pastor Elpie Taboclaon. A simple yet satiating feast was then prepared for the attendees. It was a memorable party even with its simple preparation.

Another activity conducted was the overnight planning cum sales awarding last 22nd and 23rd of December at Eco-Village Gardens of Malasag. The said activity was participated by HPCC staff and RPM Realty agents and it was indeed a productive overnight stay for them. A lot has prepared for the overnight stay; there was the fellowship during day one where guests from CDO FAOG church arrived and gave the participants words of wisdom. The staff and agents were also grouped according to their department and did some brainstorming for their 2015 goals and plans. During day two, each department presented their goals and plans. The sales awarding of RPM Realty was also conducted during day two, acknowledging the top performers for the year. With this, we would like to congratulate the top performers, who are as follows: 3rd placer Crisanto Peniscula Jr., 2nd placer Klinju Roy Masangcay and 1st placer Jezreel James Manrique. Kudos to you guys!

The overnight activity at Gardens of Malasag ended with glee. The participants have not only learned something from the words of wisdom that was shared and their goals and plans that they have brainstormed; they have also enjoyed a lot with the fun games that was prepared and the park’s amenities such as early morning swim, sightseeing of the park’s picturesque view and a walk around the nature park.

With the activities that were prepared, surely the workers and staff of HPCC are now ready to take a step forward to 2015. Year 2014 has indeed been a great year for HPCC as it has left so many memories for the company; memories that are worth keeping and remembered. Here’s to the advancement of HPCC to 2015. As a budding company, HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation started out in June 2006 renting office spaces. The company was first located at Tiano – Akut streets in Divisoria and then transferred to one of Pueblo de Oro’s commercial building. It was in April 2, 2013 that HPCC began to realize its plan of having an own office and held its groundbreaking at Golden Glow North Arcade.

And now after almost a year of constructing the HPCC Commercial Building, the company has finally transferred to its new office. This time around, the company is the owner of the building. Last March 18, HPCC had its office blessing that was ministered by Ptr. Elpie Taboclaon and members of the First Assembly of God Church. Though the commercial building isn’t finished yet, HPCC has already made the big leap to transfer to its new office. HPCC Commercial Building is a proposed four storey building and as of now, it has built up to the second floor only; but the remaining two storey of the building will soon be constructed. And we just can’t wait to see the completion of the four storey building.

HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation has indeed grown to be a successful company. And up until now, it still continues to grow and prosper by venturing into new innovations and technology. HPCC has reached to where it is now because of God’s grace. Since the time that the company has started its mission of being blessed to be a blessing; the company’s blessing from God has never stopped since then. And truly, everything that the company has, it owes it all to the Lord Almighty.

This leap that HPCC has made is just the start of the many big leaps that waits ahead of the company. Glory to God!

Year 2013 is indeed a year full of blessings for HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation. It has been a year with overflowing blessings for the company. This year has opened new opportunities for the company. It gave HPCC the privilege to venture into new projects like constructing school and commercial buildings. Aside from these new ventures, residential projects were also in store for the company.

With the amazing projects that the company has been receiving this year, it has been decided that it is time to honor all of these blessings. Last December 23, HPCC celebrated its Christmas party with the theme of “Overflowing Goodness and Love”. With the abundant blessings that the company has received, conducting the said party was HPCC’s way of giving back to the people who have great contribution in the company’s success. Because HPCC was blessed, the company also wants to be a blessing unto others.

The party was a whole day event held at Dynasty Court hotel. HPCC workers and staff came to the party wearing their best retro attire. It was such a fun event because of the full packed program. The said party had a two part program; as part one of the program, words of encouragement from Pastor Elpie Taboclaon of CDO First Assembly of God church was shared to the workers and staff of HPCC. It’s a way of inspiring the attendees with the word of God. Indeed, a lot has learned from what Pastor Elpie has shared.

And so after the fellowship, the part two of the program comes. The much awaited Christmas presentations were then performed in the second part of the program. The workers and staff showcased their talents in singing and dancing. They also showed their creative skills by displaying their parols made out of recycled materials. And with this, congratulations to all the winners! You know who you are. Aside from the presentations, raffle and door prizes were in store also for the attendees. At the end of the party, everyone went home happily bringing something to their family.

The party held serves as a closing event for the year. And because it was an overflowing year for HPCC, the party was indeed a blast. Everyone had fun and have something to thank for. Cheers to everyone who took part in the success of the party. Kudos to us!

Growing up, we are fond of watching cartoons and movies with superhero themes. We tend to portray our favorite superhero character that we like and play with other kids. As a kid, there were times that we imagine that we have super powers and do things like fly and teleport. Pretending to be Batman, Superman, Captain America and Wonder Woman are just some of the famous superhero characters that kids mimic.

To experience an extra ordinary Christmas Party, HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation conducted a party last December 20 for the staff and workers’ kids with a theme of “Super Christmas Kiddie Party”. It was a whole day party at Philam-Life Village clubhouse with a two part program; part one of the program was all about fellowship. In the said fellowship, the children were grouped according to their age bracket. The mothers and guardians of the children had a separate fellowship also. Pastoral staff of CDO FAOG church was there also as they were the ones who led in the fellowship. In line with the party’s theme, they taught the attendees who the real and true superhero is. And that superhero is none other than Jesus Christ. Being the son of God, He alone can do great miracles; nothing is impossible with Him. And what has made Him a great hero? He gave us salvation by saving us from all of our sins. Isn’t He a true superhero? Indeed He is!

Part two of the program was all about the food, games and fun fun fun. Puppet shows, photo booth and bouncing house were prepared for the kids. For food, there were unlimited popcorn and ice cream. Before they went home, gifts were also given to the kids and also the mothers. It was really a fun filled party. The attendees went home happily and packed with learning from the fellowship. In behalf of HPCC, our sincerest gratitude to the kids and the mothers for participating in the event. Their participation made the event a success. Happy Christmas to us!

It has been a busy month for HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation. There are a lot of upcoming projects set on this month of May and on-going projects are still on its full swing construction. Also, schedule for turn-over of some finished projects are set within this month.

For this month, the first project that we have turned over to its rightful owner is our project at Morning Mist Village. It was finally finished and the family concerned had its house blessing ceremony last 26th of May. Another project that held its house warming party was our project at Pueblo Golf Estates. Though we still have some finishing touches to do with the said project, the family decided to conduct its house warming last May 31, 2013.

HomeChoice Planners and Construction Corporation has gained new achievements as the above-mentioned projects were done already. The company has yet fulfilled another family’s dream; and it is a privilege for HPCC to become a part in realizing their dream home.

To the family owners of the above-mentioned projects, thank you for trusting HPCC to be the builder and fulfiller of your dreams. It has been a great time working and serving with you. The contract may have ended but rest assured HPCC’s services are open for you whenever you needed it. Congratulations and welcome to your new humble abodes!
